By covering the object with plastic and paper, bubble wrap protects what it contains inside and travels far to its designed destination. Similar to the shoes, they embrace your feet with warmth and protection and walk you to wherever you want.
The Performance, 2021
The bodily separation to the ones we love has been more aware of under this special time.
This performance consisted of one person mailing the sentiment of missing covered by bubble wrap to the artist; upon receiving, the artist responded to the missing by walking her body back to the sender, in the shoes made by bubble wrap.
